Weiming Ryan Yan, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified physician who specializes in gastroenterology. Dr. Yan completed his Doctor of Philosophy in molecular genetics and microbiology at the University of Florida and his Doctor of Medicine from Ohio State University.  He completed his residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and his fellowship in gastroenterology at West Virginia University.

Dr. Yan prides himself on patient-centered care and positive outcomes.  He has a strong interest in colorectal cancer prevention and in treating those with gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett’s esophagus, clostridium difficile infection, inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome.
