A long-time resident of Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Edward Zimmerman graduated St. Georges University School of Medicine. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine was done at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. Fellowship training in Gastroenterology was obtained at University of Maryland and the V.A. Hospital System in Baltimore.
Dr. Zimmerman has special interest in diseases of the esophagus and colo-rectal cancer. Dr. Zimmerman is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
