Chances are you have patients who claim they just "don't have time" for the procedure you've recommended.
And using traditional processes, it does take a lot of time away from work and normal activities for a physician office visit and an additional day for the procedure.
That's why we offer "Express Scheduling."
For the medically appropriate patients, we do not require a physician consult in advance for routine procedures such as colonoscopy screenings. Patients are able to download a copy of our screening questionnaire from our web site. The patient can either call the office or mail the form in. The patient’s answers will be reviewed and the patient contacted to schedule their procedure. We will mail the patient all pertinent information including colonoscopy prep instructions – it’s that easy. All the patient needs to do is show up at their procedure time with their designated driver.
This approach saves time by eliminating the extra physician consult as well as the cost of an added office visit for some patients.
Of course, you always have the option of a traditional consult prior to the procedure. We just wanted you to know that at EndoCentre of Baltimore, you have a choice for your patients.
